Well gang... I made the leap to a 100 series. I really was not actively looking but Grizzly (Verny) sent me a link to a local 2006 low mileage LC that I couldn't pass up. So I picked up the 100 and finally got up the nerve to let the 80 go yesterday. It was a bitter sweet moment but I am soooo in love with the hundy. The new truck is in like new condition, loaded, never off-road and the PO just added Slee sliders and new wheels and tires just before needing to sell it due to a life change.

Now the fun begins building the new truck. Mario at Topline Performance will be lifting it shortly and bumpers and other goodies will come soon.

So maybe we can think about changing the name of the group to include defectors like me???

Old vs new

That's why 80 prices are falling while 100 upgrade prices are rising!

Just pickup a 2001 myself but debating whether to keep it or sell it. Cost of base lining and upgrade is a lot more than my trail ready 80 is worth.

Congrats on the new ride Sean. The 100 is def a nice ride. It's an '06 so it's gotta drive buttery with that 5 speed tranny. I haven't let go of my 80s, but I do drive my LX 470 more than my '96.

When did you pickup your LX?

Thanks guys... looking forward to the new build and take lessons learned from the 80 build and do the hundy perfectly. Hopefully we can get that group trip together soon and I can get the new truck dirty.

I picked up the LX almost 2 years ago. Love the smooth floating on clouds ride and the AHC.

I was surprised to see you on the 100s section as well. Keep the 100.

I was wondering when you were going to post up. Hundy looks great!

Sean - Congrats!!! My twin truck has a new owner! Someone here?

Yep sold the truck to a local friend. So it is staying in the family sorta. Loving the 100 since it is a non active height control truck (ahc) so lifting it is far more straight forward and fewer things to go wrong later. Hope to have the lift and bumpers on in the next month or so.
