All-

I noticed that on both my driver and passenger side rear doors I'm missing the small metal piece at the front edge of the door on the door guard (?...is that the right name for it) that holds the rubber piece in place. See photos with circles showing what is missing, as well as the piece on the back side that is present.

Three questions:
1. Is this supposed to be missing (I'm 99% sure, but since both sides are missing I have that 1% thinking maybe not)?
2. What is it called/what is the part number?
3. Where can I source new/replacement ones?

While we're at it; is the rubber that goes in this area supposed to run the full length (you can see mine has decent sized gaps on both front and rear doors)? What is this piece called/part number and where can I source it?

Those aren't OEM. I have the similar "door ding guards" on my 60.

Stupid previous owners had someone ( likely the dealership) drill holes in the doors to install strips to protect the doors from damage.

I don't know where those could be found though as they are after market.
