I’m having a misfire and I have codes
24,25,31 & 71

I’m pointing at MAF but of course auto parts don’t have that part anymore. I’ll call Toyota tomorrow but I know that will be pricey as can be.

Does anyone else have any idea, suggestions, help?

It was running perfect and then just a random misfire.

TIA

Have you checked the resistance in the O2 sensors? If I remember correctly they should be around 5.5-6 OHMs per the FSM. Also check the resistance of your air flow meter per the FSM.

When you get a chance check the resistance of both O2 sensors and the MAF.

What year is your LC?

94 FZJ 4.5L
Mine is the same year. Also check the wire harness near the EGR as well. If you can get the LC to run, wiggle the harness and see if that makes a difference. Your EGR might be melting the wire shielding and causing a short in your harness. If you can source a known good one that would be your best option as factory new are NLA via Toyota or anywhere.

But check the O2 sensors, both of them for the correct resistance 5.5-6 OHM and also check your MAF per the FSM. Take into consideration the temperature of the room/garage/etc when you are checking it, it'll make a difference in your readings.
