I have another of the same gearbox with the pitman arm that I won't be using, since it appears the pitman arm from the manual gearbox better fits my application.

Delancey... wtf is the deal? First of all, you advertise parts for sale that you don't even have and then continue to do a song and dance wasting more time for people who are genuinely interested in purchasing them? Do you realize how much of my time you are wasting??? Maybe you had a medical emergency or something... but people don't like it when you advertise parts for sale that you don't have in the first place!!
I have been waiting for two weeks now after being jerked around in pm. I needed the box to be able to make a trip across the country this coming week... something that i am probably not going to be able to do now... thanks! Wish i could share my appreciation in person considering that there were two other boxes that I passed on when you replied that you would sell me yours.
Might as well advertise yourself as JT Outfitters while your at it if this is the way you like to do business in the classifieds...

You were made fully aware that I was awaiting the return package from the previous buyer, in my reply to your first PM.
I informed you when I received the box.
My apologies for not being capable of meeting your expectations, but, in no way, shape, or form, was any aspect misrepresented, beyond a delay in PMing pics.
Today is the 11th.
You expression of interest was sent on the 2nd, at which time you were informed that I wouldn't have it returned to me until the 8th or the 9th.
I am not Autozone or Amazon.
I am not profiting from the sale.
I am not capable of scheduling real world s*** around the demands of prospective buyers, as I am not God.
This is the first opportunity I've had to unpackage, inspect the box to insure it's as I sent it to the previous buyer, depict and repackage.
My Paypal address is in your inbox.
Send the money, along with a physical address the box can be shipped to, not a PO box, and I'll provide a FedEx Ground tracking number by 6pm today.
If PO box is all there is, note that, and it'll go snail mail.
If those terms aren't agreeable, get off my fawking thread and make a mental note to yourself to never do any business with me in the future.
I've an excellent history of transactions, both as a seller and buyer here on Mud, and this tainting is unacceptable, as I promised you nothing beyond the right of first refusal, WHEN I had the box on hand which wasn't until "Thursday or Friday" discussed in PM.
All PMs can substantiate the above.

Um.. I call bull**** and no worries... however, if you want to be all defensive and get nitpicky, it might help if you actually knew what day it is.

May 1st - I contacted you here regarding the pitman arm and sent you PM get billing and shipping details to you (see above).
May 2nd - I followed up after no response and provided you with my phone number and shipping address.
May 5th - Your first cryptic reply stated "if it didn't deliver on Friday (May 2nd), it'll be here today, ready to go your way." and you would attempt to give me a call to answer my questions ( no phone call that day ).
May 5th - In your second pm stated "Will call this evening once phone activity settles down." ( no phone call that evening ).
May 8th - You stated, "Box has finally delivered. Will open tomorrow, take a bunch of new pics, and go from there." (I had already seen pics??)
May 9th - I followed up again... "sure would like to get that asap..."
May 12th - I followed up again... "Hello??? Unless you are laying in a ditch or hospital bed... pretty lame."
May 12th - You responded "Does death and funeral of childhood buddy count? Calling between 1:30-2:30 Central." (no phone call)
While I am truly sorry for your loss, as I too lost a close friend in a skydiving accident and had to deal with that this past week... at no time did I use it as an excuse to not follow through on things that I told people I would do or to try and make someone feel bad for following up repeatedly when you were unresponsive.
I realize you are not Autozone or Amazon and whether you are profiting from the sale or not is irrelevant.
Back to my original point... Don't post stuff for sale when you don't have it in hand. It is a waste of everyone's time!
I will be happy to get off "your fawking thread" but leave you with this quote another fellow mudder bugsnbikes... "3 days no response on the mud forums is an eternity. Generally there's a feeding frenzy for parts on mud and snoozing is losing here. As a seller listing tons of parts it becomes hard to keep track of people not taking the initiative to follow up in a prompt manner and there's no way to chase down buyers when pulling specific parts for people from a rig/ building one or two and trying to list parts/pictures etc etc.........chasing down "potentially" interested fencesitters just doesn't happen here"
The same respect and consideration from sellers towards buyers trying to locate parts would be much appreciated.

I replied to your message before I was aware of your unwarranted, public ridiculing.

I'm sorry that you're displeased with the level of customer service you received.
I'm not in the business to sell parts on Mud, I attempt to go above and beyond when I do, and have had no issues on any transactions that I've liquidated components deemed unnecessary for the "builds" on the same platforms of which we're all enthusiast.
The only guarantee expressed to you was right of first refusal.
I stated in the initial PM that I was awaiting the return of the box along with estimated arrival date, messaged when I had it in hand, and what my intentions were, as far a depicting. Unstated being to unbox and inspect, since it had been out of my possession.
The first available time I had to do so was today.
Now, if you're done...

I was the previous buyer of the ps box and I can tell you that Delancy is a stand up guy. It took me awhile to get to install the box and when I tried, it didn't fit in my setup. Chris let me return the box to him, despite me having it for weeks before finding out it didn't fit. He took it back no questions asked.
For future buyers, don't let this guys very public tantrum deter you from buying from Delancy!
