have to run it by the warden(s) but i cant see that being a problem, they had ok'd it when i offered before.....could incorperate a bit of a tech day as well if you guys wanted, iv got a fair bit of space if you dont mind gravel to work on and a fair few tools....welder ect....

place for bbq

i have openings at my place my wife is with tom at a birthday party around lunch time till about 3 . do people want to have lunch bbq or a dinner and a party? i t does not matter to me if it is in sooke or shawnigan. just i have been trying to find a way to have it in town. so it is less on the outskirts for everybody. i was even thinking if the wheather was nice we could do it at esquilmalt lagoon or a place like that and have our own mini cruiser days going away show?

Mini Cruiser Days

what i have been looking for is something in victoria. like tulista park in sidney. lots of parking and has a long shelter with tables already in it so we could have a bbq and sit down under cover if it hot [ha ha] or raining [most likely]. i have been to bbq's at flemming beach in esquilmalt. it has lots of parking and a nice grass area to hang out and bbq. but no cover and a little walk away from the trucks. i have been trying to think of a location in the west shore, since like it or not it is the most central for whole club. since some members live up island others sooke and othes out on the pennisula. if we did the laggoon. it is easy access for every body, lots of parking . makes nice pictures and easy for everybody to actually see everyone, while showing off there cruiser. any other ideas? goldstream park would be nice but it would be busy and we would all have to pay 3.00 each and very little chance of parking near each other.

we are switching the bbq to the sunday aug 10th at 2:00 at the lagoon for a minin cruiser days show and shine, the we are going to steves [wussy pup] house for the bbq at about 4:00. everyone is welcome. steve will post his address later. i hope everyone can make it.

Sorry about the change of days. sunday works better for the guest of honour and i hope others.

1:30-2:00 Meet at the Esquilmalt lagoon somewhere in the middle hopefully, for a little meet.

about 4:00 we will travel to steve's [wussy pup] house on goldstream for a BBQ. steve will provide the address soon.
