For Sale Millitary Ambulance truck w/Diesel

No Affiliation, just thought it was cool.

Owner told me it was a military ambulance, then a swat truck. He says it only has 23k original miles. Seems to run good and has lots of potential. Asking 6k... His number is 817 five two eight 2746

Just spoke with Greg, he's measuring the OAH for me to see if it will fit in a shipping container. I know s*** about the 6.2L GM diesel, I wonder if it's a POS or what, otherwise it's exactly what I want....well that or a 80 series Yota.

I'm having a friend inspect it tomorrow. What would it cost to re-gear it so it could run highway speeds? I think its funny as an ambulance it tops out at 60mph.

Just barely too. It's a th400, no overdrive, with 4:11s. The 6.2 will go a very long time as long as the cooling is up to snuff, and you can put a banks sidewinder turbo kit on it for some decent oomph.

Years ago I drove these in the Army. They go faster than 60. Good trucks. Did you buy it yet?

I had to pass, too many issues..

Pretty cool. That CUCV style truck came with 1 Ton running gear-14B rear and Dana 60 front. I've never seen one with that box on it but still a cool ride.
