Been a lurker for awhile and with the upcoming "meet" in TN I figured I would introduce myself.
I have a 2005 GX470 with Nav, ML, RSES, but no KDSS. Got it with ~60k miles in 2011 as family/dog mobile but as the family has grown we have now stepped into the minivan ranks. It's now at ~120k and we just got rid of our 2002 Camry that was my DD so this is now back to my vehicle.
Current goals are maybe a small lift and sliders but this is mainly the dog/fishing/hunting/canoeing car so can't make it too high or the the wife and kids will complain.
Maintenance-wise, I have replaced the alternator and had the dealer replace the radiator, timing belt, water pump, and one stuck caliper.
I've replaced the rear air springs with regular springs. Also removed and then replaced the running boards (was not wife or daughter approved).
Glad you guys have done all the hard work as guinea pigs and we can sit back and enjoy the knowledge, thanks!
Now some pictures.
First, my accident. I drove to work in the snow last year and was so impressed with how it handled that I came in the parking lot a little too hot and gently slid into the building. Only damage was the outside faucet that punched the bumper, which also then broke as I backed up. Luckily there was a giant rock outside that my tire hit right before I really hit the wall. Ouch.
