I can't imagine there are many folks out there financing 13 year old vehicles, are there??

That might depends on their financial situation. For a vehicles costing 17-18K maybe, If one wants and does not have cash on hand, sure. Before I came to PV MX, I had sold my 1989 twin turbo 351 Mustang coupe for road racing/street, and two motorcycles. These persons got a loans from their credit unions.

When I bought my 98 interest rates at my CU were around 1.25% IIRC, so I definitely wanted to finance instead of using cash with how cheap that money was. The funny thing is I have my mortgage and several accounts with Chase and asked them what their rates were at the time, and the guy asked what year vehicle it was. When I said 98, he :eek: at me LOL. They only loan money on 5 years old or newer and less than 80k miles. Not really in the realm most LCs occupy. Anyways, my CU and most to my knowledge, will loan on anything that has "blue book value".

Bump, because I want this damn thing but can't afford it without financing. After searching all over the country for research on my upcoming purchase (80 or 100) - I'd say this is a steal. Jealous of whoever snaps it up.

Thanks for the kind words, Townsend. It truly is a nice truck.

You need new tires from those getting kicked so much
haha. No kidding....but they'd have to be virtual tires, because even after all the talk, declarations, promises, etc., not one person has followed up enough to actually come see it!

Yes, I was curious. I am in the process of selling my car and looking for the next one. Just wanted to see if it was still around.

Moving to Belize, and I need a truck like this.

I have an 08 Infiniti G35 with 105,000 all service records, runs great and looks good. I'm about to put it on the market for $13,000. I will be taking this cash and buying a 100 for around $9,000 ( then spending another $4,000ish on some modifications) and then driving it to Belize to live for about a year or two. Would you consider a trade for your truck?:)

Just updated the original list of items done to it.

Added: My starter began the tell-tale process of periodically not wanting to start, so we replaced the entire starter (rather than just replacing the contacts in the old starter.) Also, while the intake was off, both notorious plastic T's were replaced, and the additional step was taken of replacing all 6 factory, molded heater hoses.

I wish I had the time to visit Jackson again. I had a great time down there. That rig looks great. I just wish you were closer.
