Mike Stevens went to the hospital yesterday morning with an inflamed appendix. Cindy sent out a note yesterday on Mike’s condition, but missed his friends on MUD. I thought you would want to know. Cindy did not indicate when Mike would be coming home from the hospital, but she gave their home address for cards rather than the hospital which seems to be a good sign.

Status as of an email from last night:
Cindy brought Mike home last night. From what she wrote, Mike is still not feeling well, but he is home now. Consequently, you may see some posts from Mike in a day or two. I have no idea when he will be up to taking calls so you may want to check with Cindy on that.

Back in the saddle...

...well, sort of!!!

The surgery Monday morning was un-eventful. I was in and out of the OR in less than 45 minutes. Was released from the hospital Tuesday afternoon (5 pm) and have just been taking it easy here around the house ever since, taking full advantage of the time off from work! In case you were wondering, as of this afternoon I will be fully caught up on all my soaps.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes of a speedy recovery.
