Hello all I am sadly having to part ways with my 2004 100 series. It was my first car and has treated me the best any car could for the past seven years. Unfortunately there are some fixes that need to be done and I just do not have the time or money to do so. I have had some power steering troubles over the past year and had it fixed in June. I had the power steering pump removed and replaced and everything seemed to return to normal. A couple of days later the car had a small fire with the insulation near the transmission. It turns out some bolts in the front of the exhaust pipe had fallen out causing it to shoot out the sides onto the insulation which resulted in the small smoldering fire. After an inspection my local Toyota dealership deemed "Fire started above the transmission. Insulation is hanging on top of transmission and can see large harness connectors to be close to fire (burnt) and could be damaged. Possible cause is passenger side exhaust being not bolted together". This led to some more things being discovered. Other than that there is some rust in the under carriage and about $2,500 worth of fixes (what we were quoted).
The fixes include:
- Passenger side exhaust flange missing bolts/ leaking
-Brake job (replace rear pads and rotors) the left is metal to metal.
- The rear slide pin boots are swelled and rusty.
-Left rear caliper piston seal is pulled out of place. (needs new caliper).
-Front wheel bearings are loose. Need to be repacked, greased, new inner seal, backing plate seal, and cap gasket.
-Front diff pinion seal leaking
- Heater hose is leaking
-Rear body is very rusty.

The inside of the car is very clean. There is a small cut on the driver seat but aside from that all the other seats are in great shape. The passenger side speaker felt fell off (thanks to my dog) and should be able to put back on. The back subwoofer is blown and has been before I even owned the car. I had new speakers put in in 2018 besides the sub. The rear passenger side back window that tilts open has trouble opening from time to time. Everything else works and feels great inside the car.

The car obviously is going to need some work, but I figured this is the right place to post as I know someone will fix her up. It would be a great project car and has a ton of life in it. 234,106 miles and the engine runs like a champ. Right now I am looking for $9,500 as is.

Here is a list of things done to the car since 2018. Oil changes every 3-5k miles
