I put these wheels on my wife's daily driver (2017 LX570). I was under the impression that these would be gtg. She's had these for about 6 months now. I was doing a routine brake pad check and when I took off the wheels, I noticed the carnage.

I have the 705s on a '16 LC with the same offset. Zero issues. Is it both sides, or just the one? Are you sure your tie rods aren't on their way out or some other severe alignment issue? My mind boggles at how that could happen!

I'd swap that wheel with another and see if it rubs. The inner lip on the rim that was rubbing looks pretty thick, almost like a final turning operation in that area was missed in the manufacturing process. If the inner lip on the rest of them looks different, I'd have that one replaced under warranty. The other option is a piece of gravel may have gotten stuck there for a little bit. A pic of the clearance of that area of the rim to the tie rod end would be interesting to see.

This is the option he posted, i always get offset mixed up, but think the more positive the closer to the car it is, the 1.4" might make the difference

So this is the same issue on both front wheels. Tie rods are already on order. I told the wife that the new wheels would rub the fenders a little bit so maybe that's why she didn't think much of it, although the metal on metal sound is obviously much different than a tire rubbing the inner fender.
