Yeah, this sucks. I was hoping to get at least one more person to combine shipping to NC, but then we would have to split the shipping discount. Of course, thats only if we hit the 50 orders anyway.
Don't have a dog in this fight since I've already got OPOR slides and an Ironman bumper, but rule #1 when buying from Metal Tech: never accept the shipping cost generated by their website. Call or email them (talk to Raymond) and ask to be given a quote for the cheapest shipping option. I got my sliders shipped to NJ via USPS for $156.50 (YMMV).
I want a set but shipping to DFW is $300 and the last sale they had I emailed them about shipping and they said thats just how much it costs. Anyone else in DFW interested in a set and we can split shipping costs?
@Noah Randall If you could arrange it, I might be willing to have my set combined with yours to save on shipping. I have friends in Atlanta and can either have them pick up or I will just go down and visit them at the same time!
Even better if we could get @dinnertime (are you near Atlanta?) and @sammybones to join in.

well that's a great update!
I bought my metal tech sliders a couple months ago and it had that problem i just slightly lowered it so it doesnt touch the underside. Its too much of a pain to take it off and grind it down.
Officially 15% off now.

The guys at metaltech said they can’t combine orders that have already been placed. Mines already shipped too...
Yours have already shipped? I take it you ordered Raw? I decided to get the powdercoated already because at the end of the day it's going to cost me about the same to have them done and about the same time to have them done.
No I ordered powder coated but got the last ones. Based on my research if you’re going to get them powder coated it makes sense to pay extra for the metaltech.
