Looks like all 5 orders have been placed, we will be getting these produced in the next week or two and we will get everyone's order billed and shipped out as soon as we receive them back from powder coat. Thanks!

How are they comin'?

My buddy stopped by MT yesterday.... looks like they're being welded up right now. Can't wait!

Thats Awesome, Im ready for mine as well!

I'm welding today, been trying to play catch up due to our production guy being out of the shop for family reasons. It's been a good time welding 30 80 sliders and now 12 100 series followed by 10 sets of FJ Cruiser sliders!

No worries! Quality is worth waiting for!

Facebook page says 100 series sliders are on the welding table now....Sweet!

Go to Metal Techs page on bookface and you will see a pic of LT welding up the LAST couple 100 series sliders

Picked mine up today... excellent workmanship on the sliders, better than expected. But only 5 U-bolts?

Don't worry, they're sending out u-bolt numero seis! They are great quality! I just haven't had a chance to post pics of the install yet... all weekend on the trail and busy work this week!

well hopefully they send them to my house, and not that freight terminal out in Kansas (yes I sent an email). not a big deal, with 2 sets we just robbed one from the other to get mine on, hopefully have the last U-bolts in hand to do Chris' on Saturday.

My only critique is the top corner of the center mounting plate- it gets really close to the underside of the body, in fact it's pretty much against it on the DS, and I could have liked to mount that one a little higher anyway.. but it's close enough and I'm worn out, forgot what a bugger that side is when you have to futz with the brake likes. So suggestion for anyone who hasn't installed theirs yet, take down that top corner with a grinder or hack saw then rattle can it prior to installing.. and suggestion to MT is taper that corner more on future models.

The rest of the slider looks great though, I'm actually pleasantly surprised how far out the back hoop doesn't stick.. was worried it would stick out too far but I really like how these turned out.

I'll have to check mine, but I didn't have any clearance issues at all from what I remember. The brake lines really weren't any big deal, just pop them out, bolt goes up parallel to the frame then rotates out. The problem I had was getting the front PS bolt loose on the OEM boards where it's buried behind the AC lines.

Just for giggles, I jacked up my truck on the 2-bolt side before I picked up the third. No flex. In reality you'd probably be fine with just 2... unless you drop it Nick style! :flipoff2:

edit: just looked under the rig and while I do have 1/8" gap right now you can see where the floor pan has touched the bracket while driving. No dent, just a contact mark. It would make sense to grind that middle bracket's ears down a bit. Or get a body lift from Spressofab.

Mine are on the way and should be here late this week or early next. I will check out the clearance and hit it with a grinder if necessary. Thanks for the tip! I feel like a kid the days before Christmas!

Yeah we just caught that with our local guy, we hired a temp worker to get caught up on all bolt kits and seemed to be a communication issue between 5 u-bolts for the 80 series and 6 u-bolts for the 100 series. We will get any missing u-bolts sent out asap via USPS flat rate so it should only take 2 - 3 days.

Thanks for the information, in the next production run we will modify the middle bracket so the corner is clipped for body clearance. For the corner that needs to be clipped does it face towards the front or the rear of the vehicle?

thanks LT.. it's the edge that is towards the rear of the vehicle that interferes with the body, on both sides.
