When i ordered it was a bit of a mess. The discount wouldn’t apply to the order and the shipping will come up and wipe out the discount and i could select local pick up. So John at metal tech send me a quote and I purchased it from the quote. They are working on it for sure i was on the phone with them several times.

Just got off the phone with them, they said use the code and then check will call for shipping and then put a note in saying you’re part of the trollhole group buy.

Just ordered mine , had problems. they had to send me an quote, to complete order correctly.

I got my refund today for shipping. Thanks everyone especially @Trollhole for doing this!

Ordered via a generated quote that included the discount. No refund necessary. Just gotta figure out whether to paint or bedline them now!

I wrestled with bed liner on a front bumper - i can tell you it is a pain in the but to deal with. the first time you scrape them, you will get chunks of it flopping around, it may just pop up from the steel etc. then - - you will get a little rust form in there. Once you notice you have an issue, you basically gotta remove all the bed liner and start over.

recommend you pick a Rustoleum product you like - - Satin black, whatever - - and paint them and then touch them up later.

Either that or powder coat them if you don't think you will scratch them up much.

When I was building bumpers and sliders I used Rustoleum Industrial paint. A few things factor in, first is that it is an oil based paint and can be purchased in quarts for use with a jamb gun. Second is that touch up paint is available everywhere. The paint holds up well.

I use a couple coats of the red primer first (red lead) and usually Semi Gloss black. Over time I found that even a deep gouge will only rust at the gouge itself. The rust will not penetrate under the red primer. Only down side for me is the loooooooong cure time for the paint.

Requested a quote from them this morning, Going to try to jump in on a set of sliders. Thanks Marshall for offering this.

I did the request a quote, and John replied within 45 mins. Got locked in for a set of opor sliders. Merry Christmas to me..

Thanks again Marshall!

Once it ships and I know who is on it I might get a quote to get them all powder coated. Won't be anything fancy but figured I could at least ask my guy.

Unique coatings has been good to me in high point for other parties. Bk05 powder, same as arb usually $100

would be interested in powder coating pending cost (otherwise rattle can which will have to wait til warmer weather and I don’t like to wait)

I would also be interested in powder coating.
