I will be back from Costa Rica on Thursday, packing my 80 up on Friday and going somewhere for the long weekend.

Problem is, I don't know where yet.

Anybody out there have trips planned that a technoviking would be welcome on?

Or, does anyone want to put together a last minute trip to the trails?

Any events?

I want to get the fawk out of Dodge and try out my new 4:88's.

Post up ideas.

Skillet, the Nor Cal group is headed to the Wentworth Springs Rubicon Trailhead, you are welcomed to come....Running Wentworth to Loon Lake....

Im always partying down in SLO. Well, if you call sitting in a design lab on the cal poly campus a party. Might do some kayaking and mountain biking over the weekend.

Was gonna do Barney Riley , but might do Slickrock ect.....

I'd be up for a dash to Pismo (sure to be crowded) and some trails in the Santa Maria / Cuyama area...

Im heading up to Bald for a day run this weekend.I think Sunday if Freds40 can get a couple more people to run up there with.

I dont wanna go up alone :D

plan currently....meet up with DasBeast and family/virgin friends...Deer Valley and Slick Rock. Barney Riley hot tubs sound much better!

Great. Now you're going to be even slower.

We're running a mountain bike biathalon at Boggs State Demonstration Forest on Sunday. It's on the way to Cow Mountain. Free camping for Vikings. The UC Davis cycling team will be there.

Yea, I'm a fourth year Architectural Engineering Student. Of something along the lines of 5 and a quarter to 6 years. It really is a great school and a great area to hang out in as long as you can find the time to get outside. Seems a lot of mudders on here are Poly Alum. If you want a tour around town or to know about some cool spots to eat or anything just pm me and I can show you around.

By the way, what are you looking to study at poly?

sorry to semi hijack this thread (looks like thats already been done) but whats barney riley like right now? snow? last time i went there, last summer some time, it seemed a bit hairier than the 4 of 10 it is rated. has the trail deteriorated since then? gotten (somehow) better? or am i just a wussy. i didnt have a real hard time of it but there were some steep very loose rocky stretches that got me momentarily hung up etc and we never did make it all the way to the river (more from a late start and a leisurely pace than anything). did see the man call chicago there in his 62 though...

i am itching to go somewhere but im not sure memorial day weekend is the right time.

one love
jah bill
