Far left instruments would not illuminate when headlights were on. Removed instrument cluster today and found a melted lamp socket housing(see below). I have been scouring the web, but can't seem to find a replacement lamp socket housing. "Yazaki" is inscribed on the back of the housing.

Instrument panel also fogs(see below). Any chance these are related issues? Do I need to be worried about anything in particular or can bulbs get that hot when they blow?

u NEED LED bulbs

and NEW OEM toyota bulb sockets


also polish the COPPER with KID gloves , using say 1500 grit wet sanding CUE TOP Style


lube all with die electric grease

verify ALL grounds are GOOD white wires w// black tracer stripes


i saw this many times ant the dealer ship back in the day

ALL above done corrected this issue


how ever we did not LED bulbs in the late 1990's and 2000's
