9:00? Did someone say something about a grill?

9:00am. I'll bring a grill. Everybody else bring tools. I'll have some random beers available. Should be a beautiful day!

The only tools I own are the ones you guys have seen in the back of my truck. Kevin, would you mind bringing anything that you think we will need to change my springs? I will go to the store and pick up some stuff to do a early morning bloody Mary bar.

I have at least 1 gallon of zing zang bloody mix!

Cool, I will grab some vodka and fixings as well as red solo cups.

I have more that a million cups. And ice. And coolers.

You guys better be sober for Mikes 11am speech. Poor guy has been practicing all week. So please no laughing or cutting up please.

Well, that was fun. Thanks to those that came out today. Who knew it was going to be the same day as the St. Patrick's parade?? We had 10 or so members out there and we had a good time hanging out. We even picked up a new member today. He had talked to Hodges at the Louisiana Offroad M&G in Gonzales and he still wanted to come out and hang with us. Some of the guys were wrenching. Sue was getting a lift on the 4Runner as I was leaving and even Erick, in his girly-man shoes, was able to find a reason to take his front tires off (I think it was Haley trying to show him how to adjust his Toytecs). I didn't take any picture but Hodges did. Maybe he'll post some of them up later.

Also, as mentioned, I'm gonna check with Charles but we are going to attempt a BBQ at NST on Sat May 5 so put it on your calendars.

New Guy at Fj meet.

Hello everyone and thank you for a good time. I even got a free spare tire cover by one of the members. I'm an owner of a small painting and drywall commercial and residential company based in Metairie. 43 years old with 2 daughters 9 and 1. I have owned 4x4s before, but never did any serious off roading aside from a trip to the spillway every once in a blue moon. I do enjoy and believe in being ready for any situation, specially after Katrina and since I'm ready why not play a little.

had a blast today! great seeing everyone again.
