Good time. Food was really good. Always fun hanging out with friends.
I wish I had been able to go. I didn't see where we had decided to attend as a group. The last thing I knew I had mentioned going to this place on this thread and it seemed to have little interest.
Robin and I were caught off balance when Troll called 4 hours prior to the event. Sorry, everyone. I'd like to do it again.

John Lee, we need to check our email list. I know I got an email around Wed or Thurs reminding everyone of the MM. It appears Alex did not get that email.
This is also a good time to remind everyone that they can update their contact info over on the UC website. If your contact info is not current, then we cannot guarantee email notifications.

But I think Alex brings up another point. We need a new official thread for each event... Or at least post #1 in a particular thread needs to be kept up to date, so that upcoming events are easily found. This current thread is full of ideas, but the one thing it lacks is THE LAST WORD on any event that is EASY to FIND without reading the last 4 pages.
Adam, you want to amend your first post in this thread to reflect the official standing of upcoming events? Also include a link to our UC Calendar in that thread to cover all our bases.

Would have loved to have made it but as BMT said, I did not check this thread. A seperate one with a date heading would be helpful.

There is a new thread sticky at the top of the UC Section- all dates for events/MM/Etc will be there.
I think I heard that Florida group is having a huge event up at the place you mentioned Rick.....so it is pretty much closed to everyone else...so sounds like Durhamtown in February.

Great idea. I would though add an aditional thread and sticky it for every event. This way it stays at the top and in front of people very easily without them having to dig for it.
I know we are lazy. But it worked for me. Plus if they are put up well in advance we will have a place to post specific information about the events.
I'd also suggest getting your Event Peep to me a mod in the section and let him make the first posts. That way he can make all the changes to the 1st post as things change. SOmetimes it's had for some of those who only breifly come into Mud to scan through pages of stuff to find out what is going on.
