Those look really good. Definitely tempting...
Please don’t get the wrong idea... they were a LOT of work even for me. A lot of borrowing of tools, and even paying of talent.
In the end, it is potentially easiest to be a consumer and pay $1000 for a set of bolt-ons...
wait until metaltech has another big sale. You can get a set of the opor sliders for about $700.Good to know. The coach at my gym is a pretty serious welder (does it by trade) and would probably help me out, but yeah, I wouldn't want to be a huge imposition on him.
Those sliders look great. Welding is definitely the easy part for land cruiser sliders. The cutting, fitting, grinding, etc. for the bend in the frame is the hard part. I will probably have nightmares just from looking at those pictures.
