Looking good

And you haven’t even welded the plates yet!

They've been tacked since this picture.
A buddy is stopping by later to puts NICE welds on it all. I'm in the "measuring once, cutting twice" stage of the legs.

I mention how hot it is outside today???

Yeah, it is miserable out there.

Done. Finally.

Noiooiiiccee.

Forgot to get pics of the welded to frame part. So here’s them before we welded them on.
I can’t be any more pleased with getting these and doing what I did to them! Had to do a little trimming to the rockers tonight from them chattering the body, but it’s to be expected. These units are massively BEEF!

Those look really good. Definitely tempting...

Please don’t get the wrong idea... they were a LOT of work even for me. A lot of borrowing of tools, and even paying of talent.
In the end, it is potentially easiest to be a consumer and pay $1000 for a set of bolt-ons...

Good to know. The coach at my gym is a pretty serious welder (does it by trade) and would probably help me out, but yeah, I wouldn't want to be a huge imposition on him.

wait until metaltech has another big sale. You can get a set of the opor sliders for about $700.

Those sliders look great. Welding is definitely the easy part for land cruiser sliders. The cutting, fitting, grinding, etc. for the bend in the frame is the hard part. I will probably have nightmares just from looking at those pictures.

You need to come out Thursday evening to the meeting!
How do we get these OG’s back in the fold?!

I had no idea you had gotten back in a 100 E - looking good.

Wrenched on the hunnerd today... well, atleast the key I did!
