While I had the brake calipers off today, I noticed on the right handside caliper, that one of the pads had worn unevenly, it was worn on it's longest length, it was 6mm thick one end and 3mm the other end and it was only the one pad, I have also noticed (which I have mentioned b4) that it feels like I have a warped disc, I get a slight juddering in braking and also when the car is near to stopping, you can feel very slightly the brake peddle go up and down.
Do you think that the warped disc could cause the pad to wear like that? or do you think that the disc has been warped, due to one of the pistons not working properly?

The uneven pad wear is due to a sticking brake pad. Clean and lube (brake grease) the slide pins. If that doesn't fix it you can replace or rebuild the calipers. Or you can do both and be done with it. There are several threads discussing tips and giving instructions on rebuilding the calipers.

Cheers again Beowolf, I will look into that, I will do a full pad replacement when I decided to change the rotors, that wont be for a few weeks, got to save up some money! what sort of price are rotors in the USA, just so I know how much I will be ripped off over here in the uk, I bought the knuckle seal kit from toyota and it was £100

snow try Milner off road they do some Toyota parts brake discs £32 Rear £38 for UK parts they are very good but don not do everything. They have an online parts and prices list, probably not as good as cruiserdan but have a look. http://www.milneroffroad.com/

I have used milner's for quite a lot of parts as I have had a Toyota surf/4runner for over 15 months, As I have the use of the works lathes, and the rotors look very good, I may take them off and skim them, it will be free so nothing to loose.

I think the seal kit from Milners is about £26

Doh, well atleast the toyota ones fitted, have had lots of probs with after market parts, like brake pads, the milner ones dont last 5 mins. found that out on the surf
