I have two RHD turbo diesel land cruisers for sale and will be keeping the one that doesn’t sell.
This is a fully built (not locked) Land Cruiser with 1HDT 4.2L turbo diesel and A442F automatic transmission. Extensive mods include:
Armor:
-ARB front bumper with badlands winch
-4x4labs dual swing out (tire carrier and 3 jerry can holder)
-white knuckle sliders with extended diamond plated step
-cruisin off road full underbelly skid plate (super heavy duty, and no longer made)
Suspension (and other bits to make it work):
-Dobinson 4” heavy springs with matching shocks
-Dobinson Steering stabilizer
-Slee billet radius arms (built like a tank)
-Delta rear panhard bracket
-Ironman4x4 sway bar extension brackets
-Tom Wood custom DC front drive shaft
-OEM extended brakelines and diff breather
Overland/camping:
-Ironman dual drawer system
-ironman4x4 batwing awning
-custom gutter mount roof bars
-Ironman4x4 snorkel
Power mods:
-Arashi TD05-18G turbo with custom coolant bypass (keep the coolant temp down, Aussies do this a lot)
-GS manual boost controller (set at 19psi)
-PPD Australia 3” exhaust with muffler (for highway comfort)
Miscellaneous:
-glow shift boost/EGT/water temp gauge with sensors hooked up
-ADW catch can
-dual odyssey batteries
-double din stereo with Apple CarPlay and pioneer/kicker speakers
Maintenance:
-Big end bearings
-ACSD delete
-Recent knuckle job
-Transmission fluid drain and fill every other oil change
-OEM fuel and oil filter
-Full driveline fluids
How it drives:
I picked the turbo in order to have excess highway power while still being liveable on the streets. Boosts up to 19psi, stays under 900F EGT (measured at the dump) even under heavy load uphill, and coolant temp stays below 185F under all conditions. Has no problem going 80mph fully loaded uphill and will keep on pulling. This is a 4” lift done right (no wobbles, drives straight).
Exterior:
Some paint fading, one body rust by rear tailgate window (treated), no significant undercarriage rust. I rattle canned the armor (except ARB) so some areas are starting to show surface rust.
JDM Options:
Antenna, headlight sprayer, auto climate control, center console ice maker, power folding mirror, cruise control, and auto headlight all work!
This rig is way too overbuilt for my needs (mild dirt roads and camping) and I’m starting appreciate the 100 series more.
Price is firm at $29,999.
