I would like to do a powersteering fluid exchange. In the past I tried to use valvoline maxlife in Toyota racks, the results is not that great, maxlife is "thin" it leaks out of the rack ends after introduced. Could be the rack being old then, not sure.

To avoid this again I wanted either use a mineral based or a synthetic that mimics Dexron III better. I don't want something that would blow seals or increase steering efforts, not so thin that it leaks out.

I find the Redline D4 seems to be a good fit in terms of viscosity. Let me know if this stuff is good enough?

I have been using their D4 fluid for the past 40,000 miles in my 2013 LC. Fluid still looks nearly new. Nice and cherry red no issues to report. Around 125k on my 200.
