Sliders see always a good idea. Never can tell when you'll need them. On the last Anthracite run, nobody thought they'd be needed, but they were, once.

Is AOAA still the destination? I know @joabmc and the NE FJC crowd is going to be terrorizing Rausch Creek this weekend, that's why I'm asking. Either place works for me...provided I get all my air plumbed up prior to heading out!

.I've been thinking about going to the FJNortheast event at rausch this friday. It's gonna be crowded- almost 150 trucks registered already. I might just do Rausch Friday and head to Shamokin (Anthracite area) Saturday.

I know everyone is probably tired of Rausch, but it might be more fun to meet up and mingle with the FJ guys.

I am thinking about camping on Saturday night. Would be easier at Rausch!

I am temporarily truckless, so have no preference.
Rausch will be crowded...
I'm leaving the decision up to those with trucks.
I'm coming out anyway, and will ride shotgun with any available seats.

I know there are 150 vehicles registered for the event. All shapes, colors and sizes. Some GCLC guys, 40s,60s, 80s, 4runners and FJCs. I'll be there Friday and Saturday if anyone wants to link up.

So AOAA or Rausch? I mean too crowded will be a lot of pulling over, waiting for trucks to clear the trail etc. this makes it not so enjoyable. But would like to know what everyone would want to go to..

It was fun exploring AOAA, but we really didn't find much of anything too exciting.
