That's what I was figuring. Don't really have much interest in fixing it though TBH. Interviewed monday for a new job. I'll be buying a 12 valve before too long if I get the job.

One thing you might wanna check is engine swap regs in your are there was a guy in Reno that had a cummins in a 4runner and last I knew he had to remove it because DMV caught up with him. he was a Reno 4x4 member so just thought I would throw that out would hate to see you get the motor and get it put in only to have to take it back out cause of DMV regs so make sure you check it out before you do that swap

I'm getting the Fxxx out of washoe county. I hate this s*** hole.

Thanks though :D

In other news I may have a front plate bumper for the 80 soon. I can't really turn it down at this price. :)

Not really where I was planning on starting but it just happened to work out super well.

Off to the forming shop and I'll weld her up as soon as she's back!

Cut out for a 20" light bar. I think 8 bolts per side. 3/4" shackle mounts. Can't wait!

Getting there. Some more welding and then sanding and then I'm going to full tube on the top.

hey max!!! just checking in :p

I missed the bumper, I like that alot,

Thanks!

Maybe you'll see her rolling around some day.

Had engine in. Pulled engine out. Cut off motor mounts I made for it. Just got the frame clean. 2" body lift. Going to sit it up higher!

What's the motor out of ? Looks like a early 5.9 with a ve pump,

There are different fan drives, I have a second gen dodge one you can have the first gen dodge and some of the industrial motors put the fan real high,

Correct. 91.5 dodge. Have the uhh fan drive but am missing the hub. 2nd gens have a different hub i've seen pictures comparing but cant remember the difference. Its the piece the belt rides on just for reference. Going to run electrics but need it for belt routing.

It's in the shop the pulley should be with it.. You may have to come up with the bolts...

oh btw I work for the railroad Reno to Elko, I will throw it in my work bag, I can drop it by when I'm there,

Pm me and I will give you my number

Haven't really done too much. Decided I want coilovers. Cleaning frame is a pita and time consuming. Wondering if I should plate more. Plate rear or behind firewall? Plate outside of frame from coresupport to firewall?

No cracks or anything and think the steering box will be fine with how I'm plating it. I think..

It is fully boxed front to rear.

Any updates on this build Max?
Looks like you did quite a bit of welding.....was the structure integrity that compromised?

Theres more in the 80 forum.

No the frame was perfect. But with a cummins and a 3 link on tons I wanted more. In addition to cutting out the box support...

The latest is that I blew the line from pump to box so I'm doing what I should have done in the first place. -6 JIC fittings
