Anyone have any input on this stuff? I got a smoking deal on a large amount of this (7 gallons) several months ago, and have been using it as a fuel additive in my 100, mainly to keep the lines and injectors clean.
I am tending to think it may be a bad idea to add it in with the engine oil.
Any horror stories or praises for this stuff?

My understanding is it's similar to sea foam. Safe to put in the oil prior to an oil change with idling only for a few minutes, not driving on it.

Some old school guys I know, specifically outboard motor guys, swear by the stuff. I have seen it get a boat motor that needed new rings start running again after a couple of drops were poured in the cylinders....but the motor still needed a rebuild. haha

According to the SDS it is the following...

60-100% Petroleum Distillates (Hydrotreated Heavy Naphthenic) **(this is just mineral oil)
10-30% Petroleum Distillates (Stoddard Solvent) **(basically mineral spirits)
Tricresyl Phosphate 0.1-1.0%
Ortho Dichlorobenzene 0.1-1.0%
Para Dichlorobenzene <0.1%

Sea Foam is isopropanol and a hydrocarbon blend.

I've got an old 87 Dodge Van that that we use Marvel with. Mix it in with every other tank of gas. Makes things run hot and is definitely just mineral spirits and kerosene - basically an octane booster with some detergents. It keeps the jets and and stuff clean in the carburetor. I would never consider using it in my 100. A pos like the 87 chrysler that was probably engineered on the back of a napkin? sure, why not. The damn thing leaked oil brand new from the factory. I'll leave it up to your discretion, but ask the guys with 250k+ if they ever put marvel in. I would be willing to bet the answer is no.
