Ok folks have asked for some pics. Kaleb Black has been doing most of the work for me and Marv is almost done. Getting really anxious to ride with him again. I thought Marv was an AZ guy when I bought him in 2007. He was in pretty good shape - but when I registered him in Idaho I found out he came from Idaho originally.
I added an H55, Disc Brakes, PS, 60 series diffs (better Hwy Speeds) LR tank, etc

In 2015 Kaleb and I decided to do a freshen on Marv - thought it would t6ake about 90 days. However project creep began almost immediately "If your gonna do it might as well do it right"

I had a OEM set of front fenders, and thanks to the talent of Bob M was able to get rear corners done right.

Because of suggestions by my :princess: that Marv was not as quiet and comfortable as her expectations required - we tried to add extra sound deadener, and insulation. Doors, roof, floor were all covered. Discovered that Marv had electric door locks added sometime before coming into my care. New door panels and carpet from Trail Taylors.

Congrats!!!

Nice,nice,nice. Who did door panels?

Door panels and carpet by Trail Taylor he's on Mud

thats a lot of sound proof !!!!

That will be decided by the :princess:

Jim when Marv is done we need to get an Idaho Swine Lovers group dinner or lunch meet going.

And Pigfest 2018 :)

I hope so I really wanted to go this year but Marv wasn't ready, Im hopin to make it next year.

looks good, plus you are still rep'ing Capistrano.

Naw retired and now living in Idaho. Love it here. Miss Capistrano but almost nothing North of Capistrano.

I like that town. I always have to stop at El Campeon and get a dose of heartburn when i have work in the area.

Dynomat inside doors and rear body, under headliner, and over entire floor. Insulated headliner and floor with exception to the cargo area with 1/2" automotive heavy insulation. Added additional thin dynomat to doors just under where the door panel will sit. Installed new dust shields.
Driver front door latch assembly. I did a picture by picture repair of cutting off the end and welding in a custom made replacement (I made extras so if you need to rebuild yours, get with Bob and he will get you taken care of)
Carpet by trail tailor - awesome stuff. Happy with the quality.
Door panels and rear cargo panels by sms headliners.
Headliner by specter off road.
We replaced every bit of rubber weather stripping and window scrapers to make this thing super quiet for bobs princess.
There will be an addition of port installed ac, power locks that are hidden in plain sight, retro sound radio to capture the factory look and an unmolested dash. Will have a few other little trick things to hopefully make this more one of a kind. Everything additional that has been added has been done so if it ever needs to be returned to factory, it is extra simple to uninstall and remove. Thank you for the opportunity Bob, to let me flex my creative talent and make this beauty shine.....now to just impress the wife
