Ballantyne Resort...of course man.

It is actually part of a larger party for Tori's school but Cin is making it my Birthday party as well.
 
Damn it, I don't know why but I thought this was the 27th..... I might not be able to make it next weekend as my cruiser has a date with some wrenches.
 
Well looks like the gulches curse is here again.

I won't be there, i'll be knee deep in parts from Jason's rig as well as trying to get mine where it should be. I am determined to go there though so I will post up when I am going and anyone who wants to check a new place out is welcome to do so.
 
who is going then. I still in, anybody else?. you are going to have fun looking at me getting stuck. I am not going to camp.
 
Is anybody going to gulches next weekend? Looks like most folks have dropped out for what ever reason.
I wont be able to go to the URE clean up on the 27th so I am going to commmitt to the 20th at Gulches. I will be there Sat morning.
 
I think it is just you and Rafael now. I got my dates mixed up and have to start taking apart a cruiser next weekend.
 
I'm in for this one - anyone planning on camping on the 20th?
 
Do to the low reponse on the turnout, I had assumed no one was going on this trip and stopped doing the legwork on it. I beleive there are still some Upstate guys going, and can let them know you will be out there.

I was just looking up info on the website for the park and it turns out that the 20th is scheduled for a night run. It wont close until midnight. I am not camping but I definitly will be taking advantage of the additional hours that the park will be open. For the few guys that are still going I will be there at 10 AM. Looks like due to the weather being nice for the first time in a while down there that it is going to be quite busy.Hope to link up with you guys down there.

Yeah, I would like to say I planned it that way last year, but it just happened to coincide. I let the guys from Upstate know that there would be only a limited number of our rigs out there, but look for other cruisers and introduce yourself. They know we have some guys coming out, and check their forum for the details...

Hate that no one is going out there, everyone has known about it for a decent amount of time now....
 
I went ahead and posted up on the UC site so hopefully the people that are going will read my post. I gues it is jsut me and member MYLENE. We are going to be linking up and drivng down there together. I am pretty excited to visit the park for he first time.

Had a good time at the Gulches, good to meet you Del. Figure out your fuel issue yet?
 
I want to say it was a combo of vapor lock, old and or dirty fuel in the reserve tank as well as a weak mechanical pump. I switched over to the main tank and added stp to the tank. Drove it to work this morning with zero issues. It was a pleasure meeting u and owe u a cold one for that towe. The plan is to install an electric pump but it will have to wait until after the URE clean up.
 
Sad I missed this, was a beautiful day on Saturday but I was knee deep in cruiser parts on. :grinpimp:

Someone post up some pics....... i'm going to make a run down there with Brett next month if anyone wants to go.
 
Since the day was a bust for me when my rig went down I only got a chance to take about 3 or 4 pics and they are not that great.
