March 18th is our next official trip.
Asheboro Zoo trip.
We came up with this as something that might actually happen. Every trip that has been planned in March since I started 4 years ago with the club has never happened..... seems to be a bad month.... most times it was a beach trip or a trip to Gulches.

So I figured I'd pick something that would be completely cruiser unrelated where people can just have a good time. Hopefully this will be a trip for families or anyone that likes zoo's.

No pressure on anyone coming I'd say we should meet at 11am outside the main gate.

There are also plenty of great places to grab a drink afterwards.

So it is.... didn't even think about this. I can move if needed but the following two weekends will have cruiser events on it also.

I will check with Mary, but I think we would both love going to the zoo with ONSC.

There is also this.... those that the zoo isn't their cup of tea, can go and work in Uwharrie and ride the trails, guaranted to be the least busy day you've ever ridden on.
I'll have my 2 year old niece and nephew that weekend so off to the zoo I go.

Just throwing it out there, but what if we were to do the cleanup on Saturday and then head to the zoo on Sunday?

Do we have enough interest in either to warrant a combo?

While this is right my family's our alley, we've already made plans with extended family that both days that weekend (incluing my dad's 75th Birthday celebration!).

I hope the March ONSC curse will be lifted.
 
FWIW, we are trying for a double that weekend. I'm planning to go to the work day Saturday, stay with family at hotel in Asheboro Saturday night, then zoo on Sunday.

I may be doing the same. I'll come out and work, stay the night, Heather and the girls meet at the Zoo on Sunday. Still to be decided...
 
Looking good for Sunday zoo trip. Not so good for Saturday's workday.

Sunday Zoo: Al, Brian, Ryan, Clint, Adam?, Quinton

Looks like my wife and I should be in for the zoo on the 18th.

Anybody wanna caravan from the Charlotte area? Not sure where everybody is, so maybe someone with more knowledge on that wants to chime in and pick a primary and secondary meeting place for those along (or not) the route? I'm in the Southpark/Arboretum area.
