If you found your wheel bearings to be loose would you just go through the process of retightening them or would you repack the bearings as well?
Just retighten if it's been short term. If 10K + miles I would consider repacking.

It seems like those wheel bearings (front and rear) are very durable and can last the life of the truck (300K+ miles) if they are Koyo or Timken. If you got them at Auto Zone they're probably going to make your head gasket and PHH fail tomorrow.

A medium, seated yeet usually gets you pretty close to 40ft/lb or so.

Do you know the conversion from a seated yeet to an ugga-dugga? Couldn’t find it in the Glover pocket ref.

Funny I have always done this by touch. If you can just turn the hub with one hand then good to go.

Your one hand? Or mine?

I don't trust the fish scale method. Also don't trust doing it by feel.
Last time I did new bearings, i used Tools method, new lock tabs. 12 months later had loose bearings.
I put trail gear lock nuts in after finding loose bearings. I think the factory lock nut system is flawed.
The rear hubs use basically the same system as the trail gear lock nuts. I've never had any issue with rear bearings coming loose
