I have a bit of shudder on my clutch (manual box) but it goes away when the car gets warm,,
and a noise that goes away when the pedal is pushed in when sitting in neutral
My question is how bigger job is putting in a new clutch,, Ive only really taken on being my own mechanic since I got the 80 that way i know everything about my car

Thanks

Might do better in international forum??

Mine has the same shudder. when warm it is not as bad. It was there when I bought the Cruiser and after about 6 months I had the clutch replaced because it was slipping when I reversed my camper trailer up my steep driveway. The shudder was still there after the replacement. No other problem with it . It doesn't slip so I got used to it. I know of oher 80 series owners with the same shudder as well as two with 100 series that do it.

The noise could be a rattley throw out bearing that's sitting agaist the pressure plate fingers. Check cluch adjustment of free play.

My shudders too... was quoted £437 for replacement (London UK).
