I'm attempting to replace my horn relay after the horn wouldn't stop honking the other night. I solved the problem temporarily by removing the fuse, but I'm hoping the relay is a permanent fix.

I found the attached fuse box diagrams online. Toyota Land Cruiser 100 (1998 - 2007) - fuse box diagram - Auto Genius

The first one is what the box looks like with the lid off. The second one is where the horn relay - R4 - is located (I believe). So I'm guessing I have to take the top layer off the fuse box to get to the relays underneath? I've looked at a bunch of fuse box pictures online, but I'm still not clear on how to get to the relays.

Figured I would check here before I start blindly taking things apart... :)

for 2003? - 2007 yes you're probably correct. You didn't say what year. More likely that you have a water intrusion issue. Have a look at the inside fuse boxes in the foot wells before you take apart the main fuse box. I'd also replace any fuse related to ECU, and theft.
Dry out your truck.

Fuse boxes vary by year, make sure to look at correct diagram. Likely this is related to alarm rather than horn itself.

Yeah, I omitted that key detail.... It's a 2003.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will start with the inside fuse box.

I had an identical issue, drove me nuts.

I had a water leak causing water to pool in the channel that routes wires on the drivers front area. When I yanked back the carpet there was standing water. My issue was fixed by replacing the drivers side windshield moulding and ensuring it was sealed. Mopped up the water and never came back. 01 LX

Good to know. Thanks. Sounds like I might have a bigger problem than I realized... :\
