i think you need to clean up your original more and make another mold - you are missing a lot of the details

did you strip your original of it's paint?
No the paint is still on it, I'm just tinkering and hoping I can buy two from you.

I want to get a good one before I destroy (remove the paint) from the original.

Yep. For a close to stock look, use Cygnus White for the wings and letters, and the pewter color used on glove box door ashtray etc... I got my pewter from jt Outfitters (nothing else tho) and it's a close match.

Use a small paint brush with the white. Then mask and spray the pewter.

I'm not positive that those were the actual colors used but when it was done, it looked dead on.

jtoutfitters wants 22 bucks to ship that silver!!!!! home depot here I come....

the one on the left is the cruiser corps pewter and unfortunately they are all sold out.. and my can just ran out

There both great. Better than a cracked one.lol

The one on the left looks like 'Titanium Silver'. The colour on the lid doesn't match.

Home Depot has several other variations if you've got a bigger store nearby.

I have done this type of casting extensively at my work. To remove the bubbles you will find that a small pressure pot will do the trick, but a vacuum chamber will only exacerbate the issue. 1 gal or so pressure tanks are inexpensive. Pressurize to 80-100 psi and let cure in the tank.

I concede defeat. I need a pressure pot to eliminate ALLLLL the bubbles. I didn't realize that the pressure doesn't just shrink them down it actually causes them to collapse....

I just picked up one of these
