MAGIC key fob (2 Viewers)

Hi all,
I was going to post in my vehicle thread, but thought it may get buried there.

I'm curious if anyone else has seen/has this same key fob anti-theft system? This was a dealer add-on with my Cruiser back in '94.
I still have the two fobs that this passport came with too.

Just didn't know if anyone else has experienced these or had any more history on them.

Edit: the fob is the square on my keychain.

I don't see any key fobs but that little aluminum tag is the key code for all the locks. Knowing that code makes it easier to get a "factory cut" Toyota replacement.

The fob is the black square attached to my key. I tap that under the dash, then I can start my rig.
Its kinda cool. Just didn't know if others have had similar systems installed previously
