Y'all, please for the love of sanity can someone tell me where to find the buzzer/chime for when the key is in the ignition and turned to on, but before turning over the engine, so that I can yoink it and put it in the bin where it belongs. My 1990 80 series emits an eeEeEeEEEEeee sound akin to the death scream of a velociraptor, and makes me want to gouge out my eardrums with the back end of a spoon. I've completely dismantled the dash, pulled the cluster, and can't pin it down..

This should help

Update - THE BUZZER IS DEAD. I finally found the relay, which is conveniently labelled BUZZER in massive letters, and have unplugged it... It was about half a foot above the normal driver side relay box, under the driver's side kick panel, and I only happened to see it because I finally removed the lower plastic instrument panel and was pretending to be a contortionist. Hallelujah
