Has anyone had any experience with the molded carpet kits that MAF sells? Also, where is the best place to get soundproofing?

I can't make up my mind rather to Line-x the interior, or recarpet it.

I put a MAF molded (cheapest that can be found as I recall) and while it technically "fit" (requiring lots of trimming, etc....no bid deal), it' was a completely different shade of brown than stock (talking chocolate vs. stock dark brown), and the stuff rips quite easily. It was better than what was left in mine at the time: stock-brown-turned-faded-puke-orange, so I left it in for lack of anything else.

But in no way am I satsified with it.

Hey just a thought

I was recently thinking of replacing my carpet, but then i got this paint dye matched to the dark brown of my car at the local paint supply store I sprayed it on my carpet, the vinyl parts of my seats(part that fade that greenish color) and my dash pad and now my interior looks brand new. Just an idea though paint is a little pricey cause it's such a special paint, but its way cheaper than all new parts

do any of you know of any places that sell a molded vinyl floor kit for a 62, i'm gettin tired of vacuuming sand out of my carpet

SOR has a molded vinyl "carpet" kit for 60's and 62's.
