Hey guys. Recently the VSC light has came on. Replaced with new one and instantly truck was running super lean and wonky. Is there a difference in part from the tundra and lx570? The AMF they sold me is for the 5.7 L but why would it read different when i installed

Not likely MAF. It's rarely a causal issue on these trucks.

Not enough info here, but if it's actually running lean, I would highly suspect the fuel pump. What model year is your LX and how many miles?

What code came up when the VSC light came on? Why did you replace the MAF? Did you buy OEM?

And to answer your question about parts, Olathe Toyota shows the same part number for the 5.7L.

So to give more context. Vsc light came on. My mechanic said the only code thats showing was flow of some sort. He said replace the maf sensor. Purchased the new sensor and when we installed and started truck was running extremely lean, as if not getting enough air or fuel. So we cleaned the original MAF sensor and plugged in and instantly truck running good. 5 days later VSC light back on

So i cleaned the MAF and unplugged battery. VSC light went off for 3 weeks and now back on… any suggestions on why this is happening? Thanks
