Howdy yall.

TLDR: want to run wescott preload collar lift on 08-15 lx570.
Will it work?
What are some concerns?
Not trying to full extend AHC sensor lift.
would like static height lift while retaining AHC for my triplets.

---------------------

I'm adding an lx570 to the fleet next year to better accommodate my triplets.
I know with the LX you could do a sensor lift at max adjustment. But after reading various threads there's potential issues with maxing out the strut.
I read about the wescott preload lift for LC200, just wondering is it compatible with the LX. I saw someone on Instagram have them listed in their build for their lx.
And i read here that it maybe a possible solution for us.
Has any one went that route?
What are some concerns or hiccups you ran into, besides an AHC bleed and refill.
Is it a direct fitment, or are modifications need to be made.

Additionally I'm tracking NST spec, body lift.

Forgive me, I'm still trying to learn as much as I can.

I believe @MTKID tried to fit the spring perch over an AHC shock and found that it wouldn't fit. AHC shocks are a larger diameter than the LC shocks. That's just something I remember reading, so don't hold me to it

Also, are your triplets hippopotamuses?

No they're not. I'm assuming you're referring to the weight involved. I just like the look of the static lift. Read a few places on here that maxing out AHC could cause issues. Just want to avoid it altogether.
I'm in the business of safe than sorry especially with my kids. My sketchy days are over.

The Westcott kit does fit the AHC shock. I do have it installed. It’s certainly a lot more effort than some of the coil spring spacers/helpers that slide into the coil but it does seem to work well for me, and I’m glad I did it.

Thank you for chiming in. In assuming beyond the AHC specifics. It was a direct drop in?

And did you order the full kit? Or just the front lift?

Have some 305/70/17 paired with some +25 offset wheels waiting to be ordered.
Planning on a BMC when I eventually make the jump to 37s along with all the other necessary stuff needed.

And do you have before and after photos of install?

FYI, no spacer or collar lift will actually lift your truck… assuming that’s your desired outcome.

Adding any spacer to an LX with AHC is used to solve a different problem, AhC pressure, caused by sensor lifts.

It also adds droop if you use a top hat spacer.

People have been riding around with sensor lifts for years without issues.

I did only instal the front kit and yes, it is a direct fit as their installation video shows. I do have pictures but it does not lift the front because the AHC pressure lifts to the vehicle height the sensor calls for. I installed it to increase the coil preload and reduce AHC pressures after the sensor lift. And in the back I used the 100 series Terrain Tamer AHC coil with a coil spacer on top.

And just an old picture everyone has already seen…
