Anyone have experience with this? I am sold on a LC in every way over the LX570. Am fine with spending a little more, looking less pretentious (stupid I know) and especially the interior.

However, I am a huge believer in ventilated seats. I also find the LX seats far more comfortable.

Does anyone have or know of someone putting LX570 seats into a LC and then figuring out how to work the ventilated function?

Edit - I don’t have the dough for a 13 and up!!

If you're sold on a LC, there are ventilated seats in the 2016+ models and I believe some of the pre-face lift models also.

The seats in my 2013 LC200 are ventilated, heated/cooled. Not as many adjustments as the LX seats, but I find them comfortable (6'4" - 240lbs).

I have an 08' and have been looking into installing ventilated seats. Mechanically, doesn't seem too difficult. Electronically/software/ controls are what I'm concerned with.
the seats have multiple controllers in them, position, memory, climate, and the all important air bags.
going from LC to LX shouldn't be too daunting. you will need the seats, climate control switches, and wiring harness between them.
still looking into what controls will need to be changed to keep the LC computers happy.

I was looking for more adjustability and lower price...so I picked up a drivers seat from an 07' LS430.

From at least 2013 on the LC has ventilated seats, as well.

Should have noted I don’t have the dough for a 2013 and up unfortunately!!!

So you installed a LS 430 seat in your LC? I love those seats.

Working on it .
It's on my list of things to try to get done before Colorado trip in July .

FWIW I have a 2010 LX and honestly can't tell that any ventilation is going on, perforated leather is nice so you don't stick to it with shorts on but other than that not sure its worth it.

I have a 2009 LX. Seat heater is fine, but I would agree the "cooled ventilation" function is weak and poor. Even on max cool setting, I can barely tell there is ventilation. My wife's NX300H ventilated seats are much better, and I can definitely feel cool air blowing onto my back and glutes.

I'm assuming maybe there is some ducting under the seats or fans? I will raise my seats up to check to ensure its working.

Always wondered if you could put a bigger fan in the seat or something. I’d deal with a louder fan for some swamp ass

when looking through the Lexus forums trying to determine the best seat to look for, many Lexus owners were underwhelmed with the performance of the seat ventilation.

The is250 guys were adding a plastic sheet to the bottom of the seat and selecting dash vents and footwell for the AC. The cool air blowing down through the footwell would go under the seat and get funneled to the seat vent.

maybe not rocket science, but worth a try to get air conditioned air "down there"

The ventilation in my ‘08 LX is laughable at best and it was something I had higher expectations with. Our ‘16 LC is better no doubt. It still pales to any of the domestic versions I have had though and that’s unfortunate.

My buddy's dodge truck and my mom's Chrysler 300 both will freeze your undercarriage if you turn the chill up too much.
You'd have to vent the chill box to the floor under the seat to get that from a LC. :hmm::idea:

My 2013 seems to be hit or miss. When you first turn it on it seems to work really well, but after its been running for a while sometimes it feels like it actually cut off.

My dad has a 2016 Grand Cherokee limited...that is an impressive ventilated seat!
