Does anyone make something similar to the SDHQ panel ('08-21 200 Series Land Cruiser SDHQ Built Switch Pros OEM Replacement Keypad Mount - https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/08-21-200-series-toyota-land-cruiser-sdhq-built-switch-pros-oem-replacement-keypad-mount) for the LX570 that replaces the little cubby with space for accessory switches (brake controller, etc.)?

I'd be happy to design something but I'd either need the desired components in hand or very detailed measurements and then you'd cover mailing test pieces for any tweaks. Parts in hand is definitely easier and faster.

For my LX, just drew up and printed this sunglass holder location auxbeam switch mount (still needs final tweaks and reprint in carbon fiber reinforced material) and some recessed cargo lights.

Would love to get something that houses the the existing buttons (rear power lid, heated steering wheel, etc.) but also has a bunch of dummy slots for adding accessory buttons or even swapping over buttons from the right side of lower dash (AHC kneel, center diff lock, etc.).

Will need to see if I can remove that whole panel and live without it for a period of time.

I hear ya. Last I was under there, the button on the right side are routed as such so they likely won't reach over to the left side and vice versa. The easiest option would definitely be to get rid of the push button cubby on the left. If yours is 08-15 then it's the same as mine and I can already model the cubby blank, if it's 16+ I don't have access to one.

Not sure if the button panel and cubby are all-in-one or if you can separate them and just replace the cubby with a dummy panel (preferred route if possible).

Don’t think I’ve seen anything similar for the LX. Why not just mount it over the cubby? Would be the easiest and cheapest. If you’re not going to use the cubby, just mount on it. That’s what I did in my 200 similar to the SDHQ panel. I just cut out a hole and mounted it. Looks the exact same as the SDHQ, except without the tacky SDHQ engraving on the side.

FYI - SDHQ does not make the LC 200 panel. They take a OEM panel (~$40) and cut out the hole, add a few 3D printed brackets, and engrave their logo on the panel.

If you want to experiment, I would suggest just buying an extra cubby and cutting out the hole you need. Wasn’t really that hard when I did it on my 200.

They are separate pieces. Each one is relatively easy to remove. If I recall, correctly, you need to remove the lower panel first, then a few bolts, then the panel below the steering wheel (but above the knee airbag). Then each of these panels (cubby and button panel) just pulls out with relative ease. Obviously there's a wiring harness on the button panel.

@UT08LX570 happy to toss you some startup cash for this. I bet you could sell a lot of them given the lack of dummy holes for aftermarket switches, switch pros, etc.

I've also got a 14 LX. Id love to replace that left side cubby for some OEM Toyota style switches. There's another thread where some guys started a 3d print stl file. Id love the file. I'm still very new to 3d printing. 3d modeling is on my list of things to learn but this is pretty complicated for a first go around

Yeah there's definitely guys out there! I recently bought a decent 3d scanner for a couple LX projects, this is on the list but it probably won't get scanned and work started for a couple months due to how busy I am across multiple businesses.

I went ahead and printed a version of what the other guys had. But I crudely filled the trailer brake hole. Its a good start but it's still too wide overall. The top button section is also too big.

Help me obi wan...you're our only hope!

No but seriously, that's about as technical as I have gotten. I've only had my bambu a1 for 6 months.
