New to me 2010 LX570, 169k miles.
New radiator hoses and thermostat
New 2nd Air system pump and valves
New rear ride height sensor (left)
AHC flushed
Trans flushed with 2 helicoils to prevent leaks
Replaced spark plugs and valve cover gaskets
New tires.
Hydraulic fluid levels look good, need to put on a lift and check strut actuators for leaks.
1 accident in first 20k miles.
All vehicle maintenance from Lexus or Toyota dealers.
Payed 20k
Plan on replacing accumulator globes soon.
Please let me know what yall think. Owned 4 gx's loving this more than any of them but I can't hit speed bumps at 25mph+ comfortably anymore. (Which is fine) but want to get ahead of replacing. I do not want to do a spring swap.

Congrats, and welcome to the LX world :)

I recommend buying accumulators from IMPEX Japan...best price I've been able to find (even with shipping/customs fees). Amayama and Partsouq are good too. I've also heard of genuine ones on Ebay for a decent price, but there are a lot of aftermarket ones on that auction site too.

Nice color combo.

Were just the radiator hoses replaced, or also the radiator?

With all that dealer maintenance, have you checked operation of the HVAC fresh/recirc flap?

At that mileage the globes are likely toast or at the very least on their way out. Normal. But assuming no rust, looks like you done pretty good!

Why does the truck have the wrong wheels?

Why is the front passenger fender/bumper/headlight so mis aligned? How bad was the wreck?

What if we said you got bent over harder than Stormy Daniels? Would that make you cry ?

What if we said you made the deal of the century, would that lead to a 2 inch growth and further confidence and immense happiness in your life?

Post coital questions are silly.

You bought it - live with it and enjoy it.

One thing we can say, you are a smarter man dumping those POS Prados and stepping up to a real truck.

Old man beige or not - make sure to change your head gasket

If it was dealer maintained its whole life, you should be able to find records of all services performed, including ahc globes at about ten years? When I replaced mine, the ride got a bit more firm, and handled better on the highway. If you think you have a fluid leak, may be rusty hydraulic lines. Pre purchase inspections go a long way towards showing less than obvious issues, when done by a knowledgeable shop. Do you know if you have adaptive headlights? They turn with the steering wheel, and are pricey and complicated, as is just about everything on the LX. I would drive it for awhile before messing with it.
The truck looks well taken care of, at least from the one photo you showed.

Down boy.

Congrats on the new rig @Huntern12. Hope it lasts you a long time! Good thoughts on the accumulators above. You might also consider finding some take-off Land Cruiser wheels if you want a smoother ride. There are usually lots to choose from in the DFW area on FB marketplace.

Going from a 20" wheel to just an 18" can make a noticeable difference. After years of LX ownership, I just went from 285/50/20 to 275/65/18 last week and wish I had done it sooner.

Refresh your AHC Globes and Fluid first, especially at that age. When installing new globes on my old '09 LX, I discovered one of my original globes failed outright. I don't know how long it was like that, and it had a vibration I just couldn't ever quite figure out even after replacing them.

Grandpa gold

To quote Dementia Joe:

Why why why why?

Why does the truck have the wrong wheels?

Previous owner may have changed them out, or they were replaced after damage.

Why is the front passenger fender/bumper/headlight so mis aligned? How bad was the wreck?

Shoddy work by the auto body shop.

LOL! 👍

Try Google image searching the VIN and more importantly also checking the online Lexus/Toyota online service databases.

I've been doing a lot of looking. 20k is a decently good price for a 2011 with that mileage. So I think you did good.

I also went from a GX to an LX. Before getting the LX I thought the GX was awesome. Truthfully it is for its market segment but it pales in comparison to the LX. Glad I didn't sell the GX too quick because I totalled the LX earlier this year. Currently driving the GX while I look for a red LX without too many miles and no rust, 2010-15. Might take a while but will find 1 eventually. And all of that is why I've been doing a lot of looking. 😀
