Honestly I'd delete the whole thing no matter what the problem was anyway. Id actually be happy I even had the problem cuz it would justify ripping it out! But I'm a kind of a nutty AHC hater and thats just my opinion.

Failures seem few and far between, which I'll admit is odd (but good). Not sure a delete is possible in the 200s as of yet, lots of talk about it though.

The reason all four are recommended is because there isn't a test to know which one it is. Toyota says to replace them all at the same time.

There are actually 10 accumulators an the lx570. The four low pressure are what typically get replaced.

as for failure, no auto part lasts forever. I think 11 years is pretty good for a suspension part.

it isn’t expensive $750.

and the capability gained from ahc for those that daily drive their 200 is immense. 1” drop to clear in parking garages, 3” lift for obstacles, and highway speed attitude trimming. don’t even need to get into the ride mode bennies.

Where are the Rest of them? I see 4 globes, 1 large heigh control cylinder, and that’s it. The rest of the system is a pump and shocks. Is all the calving/solenoids in those main components?

Fsm shows two small accumulators on front corners and one small at back corners. They are high pressure, and yes, the valve opens the path to low or high, not sure about both. I’m not sure if I got the pdf onto my build thread when I was looking at it last fall.

Just picked up a set of 4 new accumulators from ebay for my 2013 LX. GENUINE LEXUS LX570 LANDCRUISER 200 FRONT REAR SUSPENSION ACCUMULATORS SET 4 S | eBay

Was planning on doing the bleed and after watching the video from baktasht I figured changing out the accumulators would be some good PM (have 111K)

Was just on the phone with Berlin City Lexus of Portland ME asking why I didn't see the 60K AHC service on the history. They said they would look into it. Has anyone come across a situation where the dealer didn't flush AHC during the 60K service?

Just got this back from Lexus of Portland, ME

"Good Afternoon,

I just wanted to touch base after our phone call earlier. I spoke with our master technician and he clarified for me that we do not recommend to change it unless you are already having problems with the vehicle where it is a sealed unit.

If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to me!"

That sounds like bull**** to me. It is not sealed and it is plainly in the manual as a service item at 60k intervals. They probably just don't want to do it.

And primarily because they don’t do it often and don’t want to risk causing damage to such an expensive system. Never mind there is a factory service procedure right in their documentation

Bleeding it could not be easier.....

The delete is possible, loving my deleted AHC.

“There are no AHC failure in Lexus. Never!“

“Our initial assessment is that all who say otherwise are infidels."

”No I am not scared of AHC and neither should you be!"

”LC200 has thrown their KDSS on the fire."

There are an additional six accumulators on the LX570 beyond what I sourced above. There are a total of three each side in the front, and two each side in the back.
Here's the part numbers
Front (per side)
49041-60030 Accumulator sub-assembly, front suspension control No. 1
49147-60010 Accumulator front suspension control No. 2
49141-60020 Accumulator front suspension control

Rear (per side)
49158-60010 Accumulator rear suspension control No. 3
49151-60020 Accumulator rear suspension control

I'm in $600 on the four 60020 parts, so I'll roll those and see how it goes.

Also for those installing at home, make sure to pick up four 49156-60030 Suspension control back-up ring. each install takes two o-rings, and the 60020s come with one. At least mine did.

Torque on the 60020s is 111 ft lb. Use the bolt head which is on the top of the accumulator.

Well after replacement, the ride still sucks.

Thoughts? Don't know where to go next, but growing tired of the ride, every road bump reverbs through.

New tires, PSI good. Accumulators replaced, bled several times after

What tires and what psi? I had this when I had my psi too high by 7 lbs
