Time for a radiator replacement. This weekend while doing an oil change on my 04 LX470 I got a whiff of coolant, and after an inspection, I noticed the resivoir was bone dry and my radiator was low on coolant. I also noticed the radiator is turning a brownish color on the top, and also seeping coolant on the bottom, which was also dry. I ordered new hoses, clamps, a new cap and a thermostat from my local dealer.
What I'm having a hard time deciding, is which radiator to pull the plug on and install. I've read and know Denso, Spectra, Koyo are all options, but which one is going to have more reliability?

I'm leaning towards the Koyo radiator in the link provided, but it says it will only fit 98-02 models, and I've read elsewhere it will fit 98-07 models. Can anyone help out?

Amazon product ASIN B00PW2QOM4

I ended up pulling the plug and buying a Koyo radiator from partsgeek.com. I also took advantage of their $15 2 yr warranty, just to cover my 6.

Had some beautiful weather in IN this weekend and was able to successfully get everything swapped out. Removing the radiator took 45mins, and the Koyo rad fit like a glove. Now I just have to monitor the coolant level in the resivoir over the next couple of days.

My original radiator, hoses, and thermostat made it 205,000. Took her for test drive yesterday and my coolant temp went no higher than 186.5, and that was driving 80mph on the interstate with the climate off.

Thanks man. Not out of the woods yet. I havento monitor the coolant level in the resivoir for the next couple of days. I also need to do a few more flushes this upcoming weekend. The flushes are going to take for ever b/c I can't access the passenger side stop cock on the engine block. So I am only able to flush from the radiator, and DS side of the engine block.

Why can't you access the PS block drain?

Why can't you access the PS block drain?
Because their is a connector and some hard lines right in front of it. When I try and put the socket on, it will not go on straight and I don't have any wiggle from for play. Any recommendations?

Hmmm...I dont remember seeing those on mine, although its been a little while since I have done a flush.
