I'm Ruben and this is my first posting on ih8mud. Great forum with a lot of knowledge swirling around here
and a bunch of fantastic pictures of all those wonderfully bulit Cruisers (I have been reading the photos thread for days now).
As titled above I am from Germany and I recently bought/imported a LX470.
I am having some issues with the navigation system and I thought maybe you could help.
The truck was built in 2005 for the US market, made it's way to Romania and now I will be one of the very very few driving this beauty here in Europe.
The car came with a DVD Navigation Map of North America but it does not show a map. Maybe because the detected gps signal is not able to show some relation to the loaded dvd. Having tried a European Nav DVD from my former '05 GS430 showed the message "no disk" or "disk failure" I dont remember the right wording.
Do you have any clue or advise how to get a working European map for my Lexus?
Will a LC100 DVD do the job?
