Hi all, I have a few questions that weren't answered via the search function. I've done a good bit of work so far with just searching, door sills, window motors, scan gauge, and fixing my leaky windshield.

I have a squeak that sounds like rubber coming from the rearish of the vehicle when I shut any door. I also happens during driving. I've checked the rear seats, windows, etc, and can't seem to find it. Any thoughts?

Also, the LX450 went to Slee last week, for a OME lift, with front heavies, and rear mediums. Ended up having to replace all the tie rods as well. All seems well with the Slee work, but now I have a exhaust rattle, or clunk randomly when driving.

I searched and found some old custom exhaust threads, are these still relevant? I'd like to just replace the headers and back if there is a option. Is everyone still running it over the frame?

Thanks!

For the exhaust rattle check your exhaust bushings.

I had a squeak on my LX450 that I eventually found was coming from a under carriage body bushing.

I found a squeak that turned out to be the right rear fender flare and mud flap.

Screws were loose enough that the wind caused it to flap on the highway. Tightened up the screws and noise was gone.

Had an unknown and annoying squeek/rattle that was a loose bolt in the original running boards.

There is only one tie rod, but it does have 2 tie rod ends. There is also 1 drag link. And it also has 2 drag link ends.

The first sentence makes me think it could be rubber piece that lies under the rear side window vent trim. The second sentence makes me doubt that, though. Or you have more than one squeaky area.

Have somebody listen at those vents as you open and close a front door.

Thanks everyone, I sprayed some silicone on all the body bushings, and low and behold, no squeak. After a day it is slowly returning.

How hard are these to change? Once again used the search function, but limited results.
