LX450 deflare question - threaded inserts (1 Viewer)

Finishing a job a tree on the trail started and going about completely de-flaringy LX450.

Unsure what to do with these threaded inserts that are in the sheet metal? The plastic clips were easy enough to pop out but what to do about these? The plan is to cover the hole area with bedliner but do I need to drill these out first?

You don't need to drill them out, you can grab them with pliers and pull them out
