Has ne1 swapped an LX450 front door to replace a LC door?
Okay, I've given up my quest to find factory white (045) replacement parts for my wrecked LC. I'm expecting a community association letter any day for the "eyesore" that some neighbors have somewhat joked about.
I have found a decent LX450 with a good pass front door but I'm wondering how many holes are there under all that lower cladding?
Are there any other issues besides the holes? Is the mid door indentation (where the belt-line molding goes on some models) still there under the trim?
I was thinking of backing the holes with fiberglass resin and the using techni glaze plastic filler to patch up the holes before priming.
I know welding would be better but i don't have one.
Any help is appreciated. My LC does not have the beltline molding.
