For those that owned both, any comments on road noise, is the LX noticeably quieter?
I have a ‘13 LX on 33” KO2s. My buddy’s wife drives a Stock ‘16 LC on p metric all seasons. He mentions every time he rides in my LX how much quieter it is then their LC.

The LC is really quiet IMHO...even with my BFG KO2. Quieter than my 2015 Acura MDX with Michelin Defender.

But i have no doubt in my mind that the Lexus LX is quieter than LC...so, if you want the utmost silence, then LX is where you want to be in.

Have to say (we are not "off roaders" - only 4WD is sand (lots of sand) and snow) that the LX AHC (auto height control) is HUGE. Especially as one ages and/or often shuttles very elderly folks around. Also keeps the seat bolster in better shape as one sits, vs slides, into the drivers seat. It's an automatic (if selected) setting in the 200; manual in the 100.

Sidebar - I read the oher day that that the Telluride is quieter than any other (LX, LC, RR included)

Thanks for the input everyone. Another question. Do you all think that as both these vehicle's prices seem to be in free fall that the difference in prices will start to narrow?

If prices are in free fall dealers in my area didn't get the memo. I'm talking used LC's.

There were roughly three times as many LXs built as LCs. Plus, the more “luxury” brand is more often sold quickly for newer models, as opposed to LC owners which top the charts for length of ownership.

The used pricing difference in spite of feature set comes down to supply and demand. If anything my gut would predict the price difference widen since the cruisers tend to get held onto longer.. but as stated that’s just my gut.

IMO there's not enough of a gross unit count for the bottom to fall out of the secondary market; it may happen to other, low priced, more widely available vehicles, but not this sector (LX/LC).
