Hi Everyone,

New forum member here. In October last year I picked up a 2014 LX 570 - Starfire Pearl over Black interior. I'm the second owner and it's been treated to dealer services every 5k miles of its life. It's the most luxurious, quietest, and capable vehicle I've ever owned. I love this rig and hope it will carry me for many years.

I was looking for some production numbers by color, because this specific combo seems to be uncommon. Some casual googling shows that there were 4,052 total LX's sold in 2014, but I couldn't find any breakdowns by color. I'm curious if any of you have the build numbers for the various color combos? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time!
Jeff

Also, here's a photo of my rig from our recent snow storm in Seattle:

Hey buddy, welcome!

Nothing to do with your question but;

Theres something i want to tell you but i cant release a freed mind back into the matrix past a certain point. Do you want to take the red pill and see how deep the rabbit hole goes?

Can I take both pills at the same time?

Well, i hate to do this to a seemingly sane person but your trucks leaning to the drivers side.
Enjoy the journey!

Yeah I noticed that recently as well. 😑 I'm having the dealer take a look at it tomorrow.

I'm also planning to ask them if they could provide production numbers by color combo. If they can, I'll post the info here to share.

Its gonna be within spec at the dealer.

Couple of solutions to fix it, mine is the best.

Spring swap for the driver's side?

Basically new springs in the rear or mis match old n new, but use the same part on both left and right.
Passenger is supposed to be taller than driver but that just makes it lean for no good reason we have been able to figure out yet.

Either way id rather have my truck fall apart than leave it leaning like it used to.
But honestly, its done nothing but improve all sorts of things.

Thanks for the info! What's the consensus on using passenger spring for both sides vs driver spring for both sides?

I like it with the passenger doubled since im lifted.
If i were to not be and not load up the rear im sure the two shorter drivers would make it softer riding.

I bought a used set of both for that reason and like the taller setup so much i never tried out the other way.

I work for a Lexus dealer and I dont believe that data is available but I will ask the inventory manger. If someone finds this date please DM me, i'm also interested.

Thanks for asking around! One of the Lexus of Bellevue service advisors is going to ask internally for me tomorrow as well. Hopefully we can get some sort of info out of it.

Hey, not sure if you got your answer but for 2014, Lexus sold 4,242 LX 570s in the US. Of that, 1500 were Starfire Pearl, of that 383 had black interiors. The balance being Parchment

You rock - thanks a ton! My dealer contact never got back to me about the production numbers, so this is extremely helpful. She's 1 of 383!

Any more data you can share? Been wondering how many Costa Azul were imported in 2009-2010…

Sure, that's a pretty rare color. Looking at '09-'10, 7890 trucks sold, 134 were 08U4 (Costa Azul Mica)

Of that 134, 94 had Cashmere interiors, 38 had Dark Gray
Whoa! Thank you!
