I am going to look at a 155K LX, if all the maint has been done what would be a good price? I don't drive many miles anymore, so I figure the 100K left should last many years. Or with all the gizmo AHC shold I buy a LC, edited- 98, history is one owner claims to have all service records, at this point I don't know if they are dealer or not. color I'm not sure I just saw the ad.

$14-16 depending on much more information. 2000 LC with less miles is seen for 15-19 so there are large ranges for these - because, it really depends on shape and maintance.
with 150 or more on the clock, all the issues should have been resolved.

Ok, I might see if I can get it lower thinking the mileage might scare most people off, Does the 98 LX have rear air? or as an option? I don't recall seeing that in the FAQ ?

I believe it is standard on the LX, my 98 has it.

I have seen many with this mileage. be very careful. If it does not have complete maintinance records you could be buying a time bomb. the 100 is an extremely reliable vehicle if it is maintained properly. Most people get rid of a vehicle for one of two reasons: time for a change or to costly to keep and cheaper to go new. My 100 came with incomplete records, it was a one owner and only had 100k on it. I got her on the phone and she told me she did all the work like clock work. she even gave me the dealers number and the name of the guy who did her work. I bought the car, with the "records", they were not detailed but showed her at the dealer every 3K like clockwork for 100K. She never did anything but change the oil and have the fluids topped off. After it started to give me trouble I called the guy back and got the detailed reports. 100K not one other fluid changed. So far I have done everything and it is ok, but I spent about 5K to get it up to par. Be aware it is not cheap to maintain and it is worse to fix.

They aren't cheap to maintain, but if you have TWO Toyota trucks like I do, you can buy lubes in bulk and save $$.
